Jöriseen – a part of the Silvretta group

A hike in the Swiss alps, close to the mountain pass Flüela, lead me around the Jöriseen, a wonderful area with several small lakes in an amazing turquoise color. At the end of the day I got surprized by a small thunderstorm, but the raincoat kept his promise …..

The Jöriseen are a group of Alpine lakes located west of the Jörifless Pass and north of the Flüela Wisshorn. They are located in the Swiss canton of Grisons. The largest lake is located at 2,489 metres above sea level.
