Caumasee

Lake Cauma is a mountain lake in the canton of Grisons/Switzerland that is notable for its strong turquoise-blue color, which is caused by light scattering off tiny inorganic suspended particles. It has no water runoff and its level fluctuates by up to seven meters annually, providing an insight into the current state of groundwater levels.
